Gratitude
Thanksgiving is here. It's a time to reflect on our accomplishments and give thanks to some of friends and family that have helped us along the way. You've been through a lot of changes in the last three months. So for this post please reflect on one accomplishment you are proud that you accomplished and one friend or family member that has helped you in some way that your thankful for.
One thing I accomplish in the last three months was getting good grades in all of my subjects. One person that has helped me accomplish my goals was my mom because I asked her for help when I did not understand a subject and now I have a high grade in that subject.
ReplyDeleteThe accomplishment that I am proud of is being inducted into the SIBOF or the Staten Island Bowling Hall of Fame. Being inducted is a dream come true because this is my first year as a bowler and how far I have come is such a dream come true. One family member that I am really thankful for is my mother because she has helped me throughout my bowling career.She has always been to all of my competitions,games, and leagues. If it wasn't for my mother, I wouldn't be the person I am today.
ReplyDeleteThroughout 2018 I've changed, for the best. I'm more focused than I was before and I have more self control. I'm just thankful for the lessons I've learned through certain situations. These situations turned me into the strong young woman I am today, and I am proud of myself !

An accomplishment I am proud of would be maintaining a 90% in my algebra class and from having lower grades in middle school and being able to know certain things that can help me understand other algebra topics. A family member that has helped me with this in some way would be my mother, because she would sit there with me and sing the multiplication songs while I was crying to help me understand and memorize it. She has also helped me generally in school by sitting down at the table trying to help me study even though she didn't know it well and learned it differently when she was younger.
ReplyDeleteThroughout these last three months I have made many accomplishments, one of the accomplishments that I am most proud of is making a lot of new , friends. Going to a new school and knowing no one can be hard or intimidating, therefore making "new" friends can be hard. One friend or family member that has helped me in some way that I am thankful for is Cydney. She was one of my first friends at Saint Saviour, Cydney is nice and very kind. She made me not afraid to talk to everyone ( even though i was not scared in the beginning )

DeleteIn these three months, I accomplished a lot. In middle school my grade in math was bad. Now, I have a way higher grade. My mom helped me understand what was going on, so I am thankful for her.
ReplyDeleteSomething I accomplished in the last three months is adjusting to high school and SSHS. My mother helped me along the way and she offered support and comfort when I was stressed about a class or a grade I might get. I am thankful for my mother's help these last three months getting me through school.
ReplyDeleteI'm proud of becoming a better artist. Over the years my art work has been getting better and better and I honestly wouldn't be where I am with my work today with it wasn't for my mother. My mother is always telling me to push my limits. Half of my projects wouldn't get done if she wasn't there telling me "It's so beautiful, You're so talented. Finish this, it's going to come out beautifully." I don't believe in myself the way I should, so my mother is always there encouraging me to always do my best in whatever I work on, that includes school work, house work, and art work. I wouldn't be the artist I am today without the encouragement of my mother.
ReplyDeleteOne accomplishment I am proud of that I've made in the last couple of months is yesterday I went to a mental hospital/home and went around wishing people happy holidays. When I was doing so, it made me happy and sad at the same time. It made me happy because it made them so joyful and thankful that we came to see them due to them not getting lots of visitors often. Although it made me very sad, lots of them were alone and that made me realize how good I have it and how thankful I should be for having a healthy life and family. Lots of kids these days including me take small and big things from granted and I really have start realizing what I have, and be more thankful for it.

ReplyDeleteIn these past three months i fell how i have accomplished getting good grades in all of my subjects and keeping up with all of my work. i would like to give thanks to my teachers and my family members for being their for me when i said i couldn't do something. the one person that has helped me and i am giving thanks to is my mother because she has helped me so much with my study's and gave me love and comfort while studying and helped me a lot.
ReplyDeleteone accomplishment that i am proud for the past 3 months is passing French class . My cousin speaks french will. She would try to help me when i don't get it and we would stay up very late at night till i can understand it.
ReplyDeleteI have made many accomplishments so far but, one accomplishment I am proud of is grades in school. One family member that has helped me in some ways I'm thankful for is my father. He has helped me so much to where I am today.He is the most amazing dad ever. I am truly thankful for having him in my life.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that I have accomplished in the last three months was getting good grades in algebra. At the beginning of the school year, I didn't understand algebra but one person helped me was my tutor. I'm so thankful that she has the time to help me understand math, and now I get A's and B's and C+.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest accomplishment this year is passing improving my Spanish and Math grade.
