Hacks I do to prepare for finals are making index cards or a quiz on quizlet that helps me memorize it better. Using the index cards I find time and test my self or ask my mother to test me. If I have free time I would right out lines of the stuff I know for bigger subjects such as global or religion. For topics I don't understand, I ask the teacher for extra help with explaining.
ReplyDeleteWe all know that finals week can be stressful and we all try to find ways to help ourselves get good grades on our finals. Some ways that I help myself do better on exams are by writing index cards for my notes. It helps me understand my notes better than just looking at a piece of paper and studying from there. If I have difficulty understanding a word or definition, I try to find a song to remember the card or find something that rhymes with the word or definition. While studying, I try to close my door to stop distracting me from the noises from the other rooms in the house. The last thing I do to help myself prepare for a test is listen to Nutcracker music. This really helps me focus because majority of the nutcracker music is nice and calming and helps me focus. The last thing I do is to get a good breakfast in the morning so my brain work to the best of its ability.
ReplyDeleteA tip that you can use to do well on your finals is to get enough sleep so that you can be ready for your upcoming final. Sleep can help refresh your mind before taking a test and can prevent you from being super stressed before an exam.
ReplyDeleteI try not to worry myself too much while studying, I believe that when you have a calm mind, you retain more knowledge on what you're studying for. Most people don't take notes or pay attention in class, by doing so, you remember more of what you're going to study later that day. Taking little breaks between studying helps too, you don't want to overwork your brain. If you're studying for hours and hours without a break, you'll get bored and you won't focus on the things in front of you.
ReplyDeletePreparing for any exam can be very stressful and overwhelming. There is just so much information you have to retain in your brain to pass. With index cards I can write down the question and on the back the answer, so when I'm studying and if I get it wrong or right I can make a pile of the questions I know and don't know. Moving around my house helps me study better. Another trick that is useful for me is using different colors of highlighters for my notes. It just makes my notes more vibrant and colorful and actually brings my attention to my notes. Also, there are the basic tips are take breaks/relax your brain for a bit while studying, get a good night sleep and have a healthy breakfast.
ReplyDeleteWhen it is finals and regents week, everyone gets so stressed out but you need to stop worrying and start studying because your stressing might take up all your room to study. You need to ask the teachers any information that you don't know so you can know. Making flashcards could also help you. I would also write down information 3 times each and say them out loud 3 times, because to me it helps. You also need food so don't go to the test without eating. You also need sleep so you won't be sleepy when you taking the exam.
ReplyDeletewhen i study i like putting my phone on silent and making sure i can not see it. I do this because i get distracted very easily with my phone. The 2nd tip i have is to sleep well and to eat breakfast before the exams. if you don't sleep well you will get tired during the exams and you need to eat because you need energy.

ReplyDeleteSome hacks I use to study for final exams is walking back and forth while studying notes and finding a video about it on you tube. Walking back and forth is calming to me and repetitive which helps me remember what I am studying. I also use a video so that I can visually see what I am supposed to be studying. I mostly use these hacks for studying Math, Spanish and rare times English.
ReplyDeleteHacks that I used to study is writing things over and over. That is something I find very helpful because I memorize it and i'll always know how to spell it. Another thing I do is look at many youtube videos and make index cars of the things they say then t=compare them to my notes so i'll always have to understandings of one topic and know how to solve multiple ways.
